About Us

Supporting children's programs requires great volunteers.

Since our inception in 1972, the Marshalltown Morning Optimist Club has been donating time and money to support children in the Marshalltown community.

Our positive approach, our upbeat outlook, and our commitment to creating a more optimistic future for kids is what differentiates Optimist Clubs from any other volunteer opportunity.
Although we come from all walks of life, Optimist club members share one common trait.  we know that we can make a difference in the lives of others.

We are always looking for new volunteers wanting to get involved in one way or another. 

It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to make a difference. We're fortunate to have some of the best dedicating their time, energy, and expertise to our cause. That's how we can support some of the following local organizations and activities:
